“Musicians for Musicians”
project was launched in 2016. It is a socio- cultural project toward the promotion and the preservation of the Nepalese traditional music heritage. The project includes different components
- Identify earthquake affected skilled traditional musicians and offer them artistic and financial opportunities through workshops and live performance;
- Record an album with the identified Nepalese musicians;
- Hold the first traditional/world/folk music festival in Kathmandu in 2017 for the promotion of Nepalese Music Heritage and to sensitize the general public to the needs of its preservation.
